The Shield Node Key is a unique Non-Fungible Token (NFT) essential for operating a Shield Node within the Nanon network. The Shield License serves as proof of eligibility for rewards, minted by sending the correct amount of Ether, with the minting price determined by a progressive threshold system.

Role in the Referee Contract:The Shield Node Key plays a crucial role within the referee contract. When a node wishes to submit a verification assertion, it must provide its Shield License ID. The referee contract checks if the Shield License is valid and whether the node is the owner or an authorized operator of the Shield License. If these conditions are met, the node's assertion is submitted for challenge.

Reward EligibilityThe Shield License also plays a role when earning rewards for successful assertions. The referee contract verifies whether the Shield Node Key owner's assertion is valid and payable.
